Under the supervision of the PI and/or the Project Manager, this
person will perform simple to moderately complex research tasks
including but not limited to interviewing participants,
conducting data collection (paper, computer, urine, saliva) and
processing, ordering and tracking supplies, maintaining inventories,

This person will also prepare and clean data and conduct
several types of analytic activities. This person will work
effectively with minimal supervision both individually and with
others on the research team. The person will be highly organized.
This person will plan and schedule meetings, conferences, conference
calls, web-based communications, etc. This person will actively
engage in participant recruitment activities. This person will
maintain confidentiality as required by the project or as directed
by supervisors.

Other Duties:
  • Assist in training new employees
  • Assist technical and research staff as needed
  • Observe safe operation of equipment follow protocols
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
use and maintain research equipment as instructed
  • Use specified software adn technology as appropriate
  • Keep accurate, well organized records
  • Maintain an organized work area
  • Perform duties of lower level positions as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Salary: $23,000 - $34,000

  • Intellectual understanding of field of knowledge pertinent to
research area

  • Ability to comprehend and act on assignments of varying complexity
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments of moderate complexity
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other researchers,
supervisors, and with research participants

  • Ability to use effectively all basic research equipment and
devices standard to the field; ability to use web-based
technology, as needed

  • Ability to operate in the computer/statistical environment of the
research project

  • Ability to make clear, accurate observations in writing and orally
  • Knowledge of diverse sources for finding information in the field
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team as well as

  • Ability to work cooperatively with other researchers and with
