Research Associate
We are seeking to add an active member to the Protein Discovery Department to assist in our development of novel therapeutics through quality pre-clinical studies.
Candidates must be driven to learn new techniques in a demanding position. In addition, the successful candidate must have:
MS/BS degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related field with 1-3 years’ experience
Understanding of protein structure and function
Understanding and hands-on experience with a wide range of analytical techniques, including HPLC, SEC, affinity purification, gel electrophoresis, WB, ELISA, DSF, UV-Vis.
Hands on experience with protein modification using surface residues
Previous experience with protein-protein interaction analysis would be beneficial, but not necessary
Good oral and written communications skills
Must be attentive to details and enthusiastic for laboratory work
Strong work ethic/dependability
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with flexibility in adapting to change
