BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for San Diego's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Research Associate to work for a leading San Diego biotechnology company.
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team in the search for novel small molecules and biologics that regulate stem cell fate. Candidate must have experience with mammalian cell culture, nucleic acid purification, qPCR, and RT-qPCR. Candidate must also have experience with analyzing large data sets, specifically experience with Affymetrix GeneChip processing and the Fluidigm BioMark platform is highly desirable. The genomics core operator will work closely with R&D groups to design experiments, generate data and analyze the results involving hematopoietic stem cells, satellite stem cells, mammalian primary cells and cell lines.
Provide gene expression profiling, SNP genotyping, miRNA profiling, and other molecular
genetic analyses of rare adult stem cells, isolated primary cells, and cell lines.
Provide in-depth computational analysis of genomic data sets from multiple platforms and
prepare detailed reports of the results for the R&D groups.
Coordinate and run samples from different R&D groups on a variety of platforms.
