Job Description

The Research Coordinator position serves as entry point for CEB TowerGroup Research career track. Candidate will develop broad base of marketable skills including senior-executive communications, time management, analytics, CRM and knowledge of the Financial Services industry. This team member is expected to be proactive, independent and work well in teams. It is anticipated that the position will include responsibilities across multiple ongoing projects as well as ad-hoc analysis to support product and business development. The expected career progression is promotion to Research Analyst with growing responsibility of overall project outcomes and thought leadership. Exposure to wide range of research, commercial and marketing roles will also present opportunities to pursue non-research trajectory.



Work with management to maintain research work plans, coordinate team checkpoint meetings, and provide appropriate reminders and follow-ups

Provide administrative support to management to include travel arrangements

Maintain research library; track that appropriate outside publications are received and routed

Maintain in-house publications, track numbers and reorder when necessary

Provide research support and excel analysis on a variety of projects

Schedule research calls and/or meetings

Update web-site to accommodate upcoming or newly released items

Facilities Requests: Reserving conference rooms, ordering supplies, assist with locating “hard-to-find” articles/sources

Play key role in internal events planning and member teleconference logistics

Aid in the production of web products, including blog posts and member newsletters

Reprographics: Coordinate the photocopying of documents, evaluation forms, order forms and any other materials prior to a mailing

Publications Department: Work with CEB print manager to have research materials bound and printed

Meetings: Assist with the administration/material preparation of member meetings


Candidate Attributes:
Bachelor’s Degree

Desire to contribute meaningfully to the team and develop new skills

Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities

Superior organization and prioritization skills

Ability to perform under deadline pressure

Persistence, resourcefulness, drive and ability to work proactively with a team or individually

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility to accommodate different situations and temperaments

Experience with Salesforce, Eloqua (or any other e-mail broadcast program) and Wordpress helpful
