The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, housed in an iconic building, is a fully integrated institution of lifelong learning, inspiration and cross-cultural engagement. A Saudi Aramco initiative, the Center will feature multiple museum exhibits, multimedia events, a vibrant library and extensive archives, a children’s discovery and play area, and myriad attractions and hands-on learning opportunities for young people and their families to explore the world of innovation and creativity, entrepreneurialism and the latest technology. The flagship of Saudi Aramco’s corporate social responsibility efforts, the Center is expected to attract up to 2 million visitors a year.
This position is responsible for managing, coordinating, analyzing and completing research and evaluation projects to develop the educational programming of the Center. Research and evaluation begins in the initial planning phase, enabling design and development teams to make informed decisions based upon data that measures community response to program subject matter, exhibitions, and learning outcomes, supporting access to rich and meaningful learning experiences. This vital position necessitates the hiring of a highly qualified individual as soon as possible in order to build a strong foundation for quality assurance, credibility and reliability in the Center’s public programs, school programs, youth programs and e-Learning.
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience or training. The coordinator should be aware of financial terms and principles. The candidate should be able to analyze, and interpret different types of business documents. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in program preparation, development and benchmarking.
Complete program evaluation for key initiatives.
Review and analyze performance measures and effectiveness of past and prospective programs.
Conduct administrative interviews for surveys, data analyses, and cost analyses.
Coordinate with external researchers to meet the priorities of the Center.
Assist with conducting research protocols.
