Duties And Responsibilities

& Minimum Requirements:
Work as the scientific liaison between the Capital Breast Care Center and the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities. The position will oversee patient recruitment and enrollment, structured interviews and survey and data collection. S/he will be responsible for overseeing and implementing research initiatives at the CBCC in collaboration with the Lombardi Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities Research (and Cancer Prevention and Control). The Research Coordinator will contribute to our current community intervention initiatives through facilitating health education sessions, providing scientific impact for manuscripts, and contributing to ongoing data analysis and data management. The Research Coordinator must be organized and detailed-oriented when performing duties, while friendly, flexible and outgoing. S/her must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of protocol requirements and research practices. Master’s degree with 4 years of experience in cancer related field is preferred. Demonstrated experience in cancer research, health education, bio-repository experience and compliance procedures.
