Provide professional support and assistance in conceptualizing, designing, and conducting research and analytical studies to support the strategic planning and reporting functions of the College.

Basic Duties:

Provide expertise in survey design, administration, data collection, and analysis for areas of the College;
Gather and organize internal and external data to support grant writing, strategic planning and decision-making;
Coordinate the administration of campus-wide surveys and of follow-up surveys to students and staff;
Maintain publicly available data including the Essentials Fact Sheet and the department web site;
Act as a resource for research and statistical needs for campus projects;
Centralize and maintain records and files of data, information and research compiled by various departments for broader applications and /or use;
Assist with external scan in preparation for the annual strategic planning process.
Respond to ad hoc information or data requests from college constituents.
Serve as the secretary on the Institutional Review Board and maintain IRB filings.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Necessary Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

Knowledge of:
Data management practices
Project management tools
Microsoft Office

Ability to:
Manage multiple projects
Work effectively with a group as well as independently

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge of standard statistical processes; proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiar with survey design and administration techniques.

Desirable Qualifications:
Master’s Degree and Institutional Research work experience.
