The Director of Market Research/Insights team lead will work with the clients channel development organization to understand their business questions. The director and his or her team will deliver insight that answer these questions and help executives make good decisions and ensure linkage between insights and retail level execution that can deliver a competitive advantage. The director will leverage a variety of data sources and analytic tools to generate insights, including primary and secondary research, and lead the right people and tools to analyze available data.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at facilitating strong partnerships with internal and client constituents, be willing to take calculated risks, have strong analytical skills, marketing research experience and the ability to lead a team of high performance analysts. To be successful in the role, this leader will need a high level of maturity, agility, and the ability to translate data into insights that impact the business.
Key client constituency contacts include Sales Strategy, Shopper Marketing, Shopper and Category Insights teams, Brand Marketing and Innovation teams as well as field sales.
