Our laboratory comprises an internationally diverse group of investigators at various levels in their training, including undergraduates, research technicians, postdoctoral fellows and physicians. The Research lab Specialist will be a key member of an exciting and dynamic research program that maintains a strong commitment to collegiality. Our research includes many different aspects of immunology, including mechanisms that drive inflammation in cancer, infection and autoimmunity. We use in vivo models, cell biology, molecular biology and biochemistry techniques. The Research Lab Specialist will work closely with the PI to achieve long-term goals for the laboratory by working with lab members, organizing, drafting and coordinating written and oral communications, including grants and manuscripts. A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field and eight years (post-degree) of relevant and productive work experience.
A Master's degree in an appropriate scientific field and seven years (post-degree) of relevant and productive work experience.
A PhD in an appropriate scientific field and four years (post-degree) of relevant and productive work experience.
Preferred skills: Background in immunology is preferred. Experience working with in vivo models and molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry techniques is also desired.
