This position will require experience in molecular biology and the ability to perform laboratory assignments preferentially involving immunological assays including sterile cell culture practices, lymphocyte stimulation ex-vivo, monoclonal antibody staining and running samples on a flow cytometer. The incumbent will also be responsible to harvest lymphoid tissues and prepare cell populations for pre-clinical hematopoietic stem cell transplants in mice. This individual must be able to work as part of a team and take direction from the Post-Doctoral Associates as well as Assistant and Associate Scientists.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: High School Diploma required; B.S. Degree preferred in Biology, Biological Sciences, Life Science, Microbiology and Immunology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Oncology or other related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in performing laboratory duties preferentially involving immunological assays including sterile cell culture practices, lymphocyte stimulation ex-vivo, monoclonal antibody staining and running samples on a flow cytometer required. Must be able to work as part of a team. Excellent skills in English (both verbal and written) required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
