We have an opportunity for an IRAT Research Scientist who will work as a clinical liaison in the Radiology Department and as a translation scientist in the Cancer Imaging and Metabolism Program. You will work to collaborate with Moffitt Radiologists as well as physicians in other programs, to develop and initiate new, investigator-initiated or client-sponsored trials with imaging endpoints. In this role, you will be responsible for the SRC submission of investigator-initiated protocols within the Radiology Department. In addition, the Scientist will coordinate with the Regulatory Specialist for the Radiology Department on protocol submission to the IRB and with the Institutional Regulatory Affairs Department on the submission of new INDs as related to imaging protocols.
To be considered a minimum of PhD, PharmD or MD in related field and three years Postdoctoral experience is required. Hands-on research experience is required. Experience with clinical trials, advanced hands on knowledge of cancer biology and experimental imaging methods and demonstrated working knowledge of research methodologies, designs and instruments in applied research are also required.
