The Research Specialist position is responsible for the daily production of required Corporate Action/Reference Data tasks. Candidates are expected to have basic understanding of the North American markets. The Research Specialist must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily corporate action maintenance, contact with major stock exchanges, and interaction with Client Service. Strong PC and Writing skills a must.
Fluency in Spanish a plus, but not a specific requirement. Due to the nature of business, employees will be expected to work evening hours as well as the possibility of early morning hours. Employee must be available to work US Holidays.
The Research Specialist position plays a vital role in the success of Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data. In this position, the editor will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data. The candidate will be expected to work with various sources including exchanges, external vendors and pricing feeds to populate related data. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
Understanding of the Securities Industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and extremely accurate.
Ability to work with time constraints on multiple tasks.
Spanish language is a plus.
This position requires the ability to start work as early as 6am or work as late as 7pm. Also may require working on holidays.
