DESCRIPTION

This is a temporary, entry-level position that involves the study of endocytic pathway alterations in Alzheimer's disease and in Alzheimer's disease risk. The research involves cell culture, metabolic labeling, immunoprecipitation, antibody characterization.

  • general laboratory work
  • animal handling
  • Western blotting
  • antibody distributions from my lab (oversee antibody packaging and shipping on a weekly basis, as needed.)
QUALIFICATIONS

The applicant for this position should be a current college student with a major or a strong interest in biology, and familiarity with laboratory procedures, background in chemistry, physiology a plus. The applicant must have an understanding of basic laboratory techniques and be able to communicate well with both technical and non-technical staff.
