The Role:
We are currently seeking an entry-level

Associate

to join a newly created research team that will be completing fast-cycle research projects for CEB members. This newly created position is part of a CEB pilot that launches in January 2013. The Associate’s primary responsibilities will be to support the research team’s effort to strategically identify targets for research projects and schedule research interviews with executives in Sales, IT Project Management and Human Resources on a wide range of topics. The Associate will apply business writing, problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail to assist multiple researchers in securing time on executives’ calendars in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct secondary research, coordinate with discussion board moderators, and consult internal sources to identify best research targets for research interviews

Partner with Account Managers to secure approvals for member outreach as appropriate

Schedule research interviews by providing senior-level executives with clear and engaging explanations of research projects and benefits of participation

Coordinate with internal research team staff members to schedule research interviews, ensuring that the appropriate individuals are available to participate in research interviews

Gather business intelligence on interview contacts and companies to help research teams prepare for interviews

Ensure that CRM database (Salesforce.com) contains accurate account details, contact information, and notes regarding research interview requests

Provide administrative assistance and support to research team as needed

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:
Bachelors Degree

Excellent written and oral communication skills; equally comfortable working via email and phone

Superior problem solving ability; Ability to learn substance of research quickly

Exceptional ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives

Effective time management skills and ability to work well under pressure

Excellent organization, multitasking and prioritization skills

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness

Advanced computer and internet search skills
