The School of Natural Resources and the Environment has a position open for a Research Technician. The Research Technician will assist the Program Coordinator with several aspects of the AZ State Forestry's Urban Tree Inventory project. Goals of the project are creating an Identification guide for Arizona trees and accompanying instruction manual that will be used by tree inventory volunteers.

Duties and Responsibilities
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications
- Assist with creating and assembling of education materials (including a tree guide and an instructional manual).
- Test materials in the field prior to use or with pilot communities.
- Edit documents.
- Communicate with cooperators.
- Attend planning meetings.
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, Four years research experience appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
Additional Minimum Qualifications
Pre-employment Screening Requirements
- Experience with MS Publisher.
- Graphic Design.
- Curriculum development or equivalent science writing.
