Position Description:
Co-develop thermal performance models, prediction software tools, and rating programs for all product lines. Accurately interpolate test data and correlate it to theoretical models.
Plan test matrix to minimize prototype testing burdens while provide enough data to validate theoretical model and/or innovation concept.
Provide thermal engineering expertise and support to New Product Development. Perform or oversee prototype testing and data reduction. Develop performance rating algorithms.
Support Innovation to identify opportunities for improving thermal performance through performing concept testing, data analysis. Contribute novel ideas which lead to technology breakthrough.
Represent BAC at industry organizations and research consortiums.
Promptly provide thermal technology support to existing product lines. It includes but not limited to Marketing and Sales special selections, enhancing unit selection software tools, and assessing thermal performance for nonstandard unit configurations and installations.
Oversee CTI annual re-certification tests.
