Our executive recruiting firm is searching for a researcher for our Norwalk, CT location. The potential candidates' role is to drive efficiency through research, candidate interaction and internal communication. He/she will take an active role in the search and recruitment process, responding to candidate inquiries, researching websites and databases for potential candidates. Additionally, he/she will research industry trends, company specific details and news. He/she will work on Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Monster, CPA websites and our own database system. The potential candidate will be working in a team environment with recruiters who are fast paced, driven and extremely motivated!
Candidate Reactivations- contacting candidates that have had a prior relationship with EPG that have not had any contact with the company in the past year
Candidate Searches - Running searches on candidates for active, open jobs that we have in an effort to make matches
Source, target and deliver quality candidates using techniques and resources including market research, job boards, data sourcing tools, referrals, networking and cold calling
Review all incoming resumes through job postings
Source marketing leads from job board ads
Make cold calls to candidates to get preliminary information for recruiters
Run searches for specific jobs on LinkedIn, Monster and social media websites
Assist recruiters in managing internal and external job postings
Evaluate and recommend new research tools, websites, software
Assist and coordinate with office manager with updates regarding the website and social media sites
Oversee all research function and materials
Ad-hoc requests - General support to the team as necessary
1-3 years relevant work experience; Prior experience in HR or recruiting is a plus
Strong PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint,) and ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong knowledge and experience working on social networks, Facebook, Monster, Google and LinkedIn
Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations and with all levels of management
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to multitask without sacrificing the quality and accuracy of task
Excellent data entry skills
Ability to scan/read information quickly and effectively while retaining important information
Ability to think "outside of the box"
