To fill our Reservation Sales Representative positions, we are seeking qualified people to create a memorable experience for our customers by answering their calls in an efficient, courteous, and accurate manner while meeting all Delta and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements. The position qualifications include strong verbal and written communication skills, sales and customer service experience or relevant DL job experience, computer experience, and desire to work in a team environment. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a call center and/or experience working with customers via phone.
Qualifications:
In order to be offered employment with Delta Air Lines, you must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, authorized to work in the US. You must also be able to successfully pass an extensive pre-employment background check and drug test.
The starting pay for this position is $1,709.76/month, equivalent to $9.87 per hour. Upon starting you will be required to successfully complete a paid 4-week training course followed by 1 week of on-the-job assistance. Provided you meet job performance expectations, you can be awarded a salary increase at 6 month intervals for the first 1 and half years and then annually through completion of 10 and a half years of service. This position is full-time with great travel benefits. During training and your first 6 months of employment, schedules and days off are not flexible. After completing training, you will be assigned a shift and days off based on our operational needs (typically a PM shift with midweek days off). We are open 365 days a year, including holidays.
