This individual will be part of a cross functional team charged with managing SM-Energy’s Eagle Ford Project in the Houston region. Focus will be on database management, information gathering, data analysis, economics, goal tracking, development planning, well optimization, and assisting the asset team reservoir engineers.
monitoring & tracking production and capital ~ actual vs. forecasts,
loading production & reserve databases,
building and maintaining goal tracking sheets, financials, drilling well activity & completion databases,
assisting/conducting studies with engineering guidance & oversight,
supporting acquisitions or divestiture evaluations as needed,
supporting engineering optimization studies,
supporting more than one engineer and/or, geoscientists is expected,
responsibilities for more than one field or assigned geographical area may be necessary,
an open minded “can-do” attitude and the ability to work with others in a team environment required
Candidates must have experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
Exposure or experience with MS Access and ARIES is beneficial.
This is an asset team position and will report to an Eagle Ford team leader.
Two to 10 years experience with onshore operations at an exploration & development company required.
