A Department within the School of Medicine is seeking a Residency
Coordinator who will have overall responsibility for residency
administration for the department in coordination with the Residency
Director and Department Chair.
initiate and prepare Residency Program requirements and secure funding
for residency vacancies. Schedule interviews and organize interview
packets, arrange interview schedules and meal accommodations. Handle all
financial reimbursements for the program.
Administer, review and
coordinate E-Value residency evaluation process. Collect and compile
data for files and ACGME records and update and maintain ACGME database
file, prepare corresponding reports.
recommendation for appointment and manage clinical rotation schedules.
Retrieve, create and update monthly resident call schedules utilizing
Web On-call database. Distribute and maintain file of on-call
Coordinate, organize and compile information
necessary for ACGME site visits. Assist with yearly update of residency
handbook. Assist with Graduate Medical Education contracts. Prepare
documentation for residency National Board examinations.
event planning for the program such as organize banquet for residents,
guest lecture series for grand rounds and other educational conferences.
Provide administrative support for Residency Program Director.
Two year college degree and three
years of experience in administration or equivalent, preferably in an
academic health care setting.
Candidate must be able to work in
a fast-paced environment and have excellent interpersonal,
organizational, and analytical skills.
Must excel in both verbal and
written communication. Must be proficient with computer (PC/Internet)
skills, including use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
able to prioritize work to meet deadlines and multi-task; handle and
resolve pressure situations. Ability to handle highly confidential
material and provide a highly professional, courteous and efficient
point of contact for persons communicating with the Residency Program
Director and the Department Chair.
Knowledge of Stanford University policies and experience with Stanford’s web-based Oracle applications is highly desirable.
Previous experience in academic health care setting desirable.
Knowledge of PowerPoint, E*Value, ERAS, and Weboncall is helpful
