Heritage Senior Living, managed by Ecumen, is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator for its newest senior housing community located in Germantown, TN. Heritage at Irene Woods opens the summer of 2013. Ecumen is a nonprofit that envisions a world in which aging is viewed and understood in radically different ways. Our mission is to create home for older adults wherever they choose to live.
The Resident Services Coordinator assists with the recruiting and training of the resident assistants to ensure that the personal care of our residents is delivered in an appropriate and compassionate manner so that resident needs are being met. In addition, The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of resident assistants to ensure the site is adequately staffed 24/7. The Coordinator will also provide back-up coverage to the resident assistants when needed.
Skills & Requirements
The Resident Services Coordinator position requires proven customer service and excellent interpersonal skills. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 3 years of previous experience working in related area in healthcare or with seniors, and the ability to work irregular hours (occasional nights & weekends) when needed. The ideal candidate must be a motivated team player, have a commitment to serving seniors and the ability to demonstrate leadership, good judgment, and dependability.
