The Resource Manager is responsible for understanding the business strategy and ensuring effective utilization of resources (internal & external) across the enterprise. The Resource Manager will be responsible for implementing and enforcing Resource Management best practices and to ensure adoption and compliance. The Resource Manager will develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and all levels of management. The Resource Manager will be responsible for regular reporting to the EPMO and the PT (Portfolio Team) to provide visibility around resource allocations, demand, and capacity. The Resource Manager works in collaboration/partnership with Enterprise Architecture to drive value-added solutions to meet business needs.
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information technology or Business Administration) required. Extensive resource management considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 5 years of Resource Management experience, including capacity planning.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience demonstrating supervisory and team leadership skills; management experience preferred.
Experience with project management process and methodology.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of management.
Knowledge of health care business is preferred.
Overtime and holiday work are required and a condition of employment.
