Responsibilities include the assessment, education and acute and chronic care of patients with cardio-pulmonary diseases. Core responsibilities include patient assessement and education, medication delivery, oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis and ventilator management of patients of all ages.
Work Experience: :
3 years of acute care experience preferred.
2 years of adult critical care experience preferred.
1 year of pediatric acute care experience preferred.
Education: : Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy Technical / Equipment: :
Experience with adult intubation preferred.
Experience with the following equipment preferred: AVEA ventilator, V-60 and Vision BIPAP devices, N-600 Pulse Oximeter and Rapidpoint ABG analyzer.
Licensure / Certification / Special Skills: :
Current N.J. State Board of Respiratory Care License / NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist required / PALS Certified within 1 year required / Excellent communication, team building

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
