The University of Illinois-Chicago, Division of Specialized Care for Children, is seeking experienced licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) to provide on-going support, initial and remedial care giver training as well as assisting in the coordination of care for children with complex medical and respiratory needs, who reside in their homes. Minimum acceptable qualifications are:
Credentialed Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of Illinois.
A minimum of 3 years progressively responsible experience as a RCP required, preferably with pediatric ventilator dependent clientele. Excellent benefits, predictable work schedule and salary commensurate with experience. Moderate to extensive travel to client homes required. Applicants must be Illinois residents.
