In this position, you will play a critical role ensuring accurate and safe execution of the physician's prescription orders for the optimal administration of oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm; some Saturdays and on-call hours


Set-up and operate CPAP machines, BiPAP machines, biliblankets, suction pumps, apnea monitors, masks and positive breathing machines designated to give respiratory assistance to patients.

Instruct patients and their families on the performance of handling of equipment, and continuance of other treatment at home.

Monitor equipment, observe patients and assure the customer's comfort.

Oversee the maintenance, sterilization, proper assembly, and testing of all medical machine and auxiliary equipment they use.

Comply with safety and infection control procedures in accordance with company policy and OSHA and CDC.

Demonstrate respect for patient's cultural, ethnic and religious beliefs as well as respect for patient's property.
High School diploma or equivalent

Current, valid, and unrestricted Florida driver's license and reliable transportation required

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required; must have valid license

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certified or attends a CPR class at the first available opportunity within a twelve-month period

2+ years in an active respiratory care department preferred

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills

Proficient knowledge in Windows including MS Office
