Inc. (SRI) is looking for compassionate health care providers who can provide
in-home assistance on an on-going basis for a special needs family member who
has a disability, developmental needs or a chronic illness. You will be
providing a valuable service for military families in the special needs family
member’s home in the areas of health, safety, behavioral, nutritional and
Tasks and Responsibilities:
with conditions such as severe seizures, tube feeding, suctioning of
tracheotomies, and/or life threatening or chronic conditions which may require
frequent treatments or hospitalizations.
care with daily living skills.
effectively and interact positively with the assigned family member, family
members as well as with other staff members.
written reports and documentation of assigned family member’s needs and
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
degree in a relevant field of study such as nursing, early childhood education,
special education, and elementary education (or equivalent combination of
education, training and experience).
as RN or related certifications is strongly preferred.
of 2-5 years experience working with special needs children, youth or adults.
have current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
current TB test.
pass criminal background checks.
reliable transportation to the assigned family member’s home.
able to lift up to 50 lbs.
