Basic Purpose


Support Territory Managers (TMs) by providing value-added services to accounts with high potential penetration opportunities. Works with customers to improve their restaurants profitability, diagnosing performance issues and providing recommendations to improve operating efficiencies. Provide TMs with basic skills’ training concerning restaurant operations and how to identify account need for business solutions’ function.



Review profit and loss of entire restaurant for highest potential accounts and accounts at risk of closure due to low profitability.

Visit accounts during key operating times, such as during evenings hours (with and without TMs) as prioritized by VP Sales and RSM, utilizing Business Solutions' toolkit to complete profitability diagnostic of restaurant, such as restaurant operations including labor, waste costs, menu profitability, etc.

Develop recommendations to increase overall customer's restaurant profitability based on diagnostic results; identify actions for restaurant to take in order to reduce costs, increase revenue (e.g., rostering, floor layout, menu changes, ordering, yield management processes, etc.).

Inform TMs on new practices, ordering and new product sales' implications, etc.; build and maintain relationships with clients, periodically checking-in on progress of recommendations.

Identify opportunities for account to optimize menu profitability, working with Category and Segment Specialists to understand critical KPIs for account and lower cost/higher yield product alternatives.

Introduce Chef to account, as required, to help identify opportunities to reduce menu costs; in conjunction with TM, determine most suitable order-guide to help increase menu profitability.

Identify and promote opportunity to introduce menu and inventory control tools to accounts; facilitate a warm handover/transition to the Menu Analyst.

Develop Business Solutions' overview e-module for TMs to understand services provided.

Provide training to TMs to increase awareness of Business Solutions' offerings; provide restaurant operations' training during TM induction and throughout the year, as required.

Fully understand Key Performance Indicators for position, such as customer satisfaction, number of accounts served, churn reduction, new sales, and account margin improvement.



High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Related Experience: Minimum

5 years of previous restaurant management experience required; sales experience preferred, but not required.

Excellent oral and written communication skills required, including solid report writing skills; strong prioritization skills required; must be able to work autonomously; proficiency with Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, required.
