District Manager oversees consumer banking sales & service for part of the Cincinnati, OH market and the Kentucky market which consists of 19 branch locations. Position is Full-time, minimum 40 hrs/wk to include Saturday availability. Requires frequent travel.
This Retail District Manager position provides "Simply the Best" customer service at all times.
Oversees and drives results through people within a retail banking sales and service group of banking offices of a portfolio under $500MM within a geographic area. The sales function includes all retail, business, mortgage, trust and investment products and services. The service function includes direct or indirect customer service and branch operational responsibilities. Develops, communicates and implements a retail banking strategy to successfully meet the district's financial and sales goals. Through leadership and direct involvement in sales activities and programs, this role provides an environment in which all associates excel in producing excellent customer service while reaching established revenue targets. Identifies and executes channels of long-term business growth internally and externally. Incumbent may also have all regional sales development responsibility for a product line. The incumbent establishes and partners with senior management to develop effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled, while compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis. Maintains current knowledge of risk-related changes that may impact assigned area(s) of responsibility and ensures staff is properly trained on risk management principles from a business and labor risk standpoint. Coaches, counsels and develops multiple managers and indirect reports. Ensures staff is properly trained, provided with appropriate resources and defined priorities and motivated to meet banking office goals. Responsible for hiring, salary adjustments, rewards and recognition, performance coaching, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions up to and including terminations. Monitors, maintains and communicates banking office scorecard results by collecting, analyzing and presenting metrics/data on business status and performance. Must make sound business decisions based on the analysis of data and knowledge of the customer and marketplace.

5 - 7 years Retail Banking or financial services sales experience with heavy emphasis on consumer and business development required with 2 years of sales management experience Bachelor's degree in a business-related major or equivalent of 2 years of management or sales management experience
