For over 155 years, the Fly Creek Cider Mill has been pressing fresh, sweet cider from its water-powered mill only minutes from lovely Cooperstown New York, home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The Mill's Marketplace offers daily tasting of over 40 specialty foods including fresh mill~made fudge, Mill~aged cheddar cheese, salsa, apple wines and hard ciders. Our guests may tour the Mill and relax on the Mill pond observation deck while enjoying a farm-fresh lunch prepared from our very own restaurant, bakery, and ice cream shop. In preparation for the upcoming season, we are now actively recruiting a Retail Experience Manager.

The Retail Experience Manager in Training will start by demonstrating great customer service and cashier skills while learning about the Fly Creek Cider Mill. We are looking for the individual that wants to learn, commit and grow with our business. The Managerial duties of this position will be offered in the Spring of 2012 with the following expectations:
The Retail Experience Manager provides and ensures a superior level of customer service and experiences throughout the Mill. He/She supports the Company in all areas of store operations including merchandising plans, customer flow, cleanliness, organization and customer service. In addition, the Manager meets/exceeds financial targets by promoting revenues and managing cost control. Responsibilities to include training and develop team member skills. The ideal candidate is trained and experienced in team-building, sales, marketing/merchandising, communications.. He/She has a minimum of two years experience in the hospitality an/or retail industry; a degree (or coursework) in business, marketing, or communications (or an equivalent amount of business experience); and the willingness to work every weekend and six days a week in our busy Fall months.
