Overview : The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for developing monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans and objectives. The position will be required to manage both strategic and tactical execution of marketing programs, and drive internal integration. The position serves as primary liaison between Sales and Marketing and Corporate HQ’s. The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for communicating all promotional, marketing and training initiatives throughout the company. The role will work closely with the LSG leadership team on all sales and marketing initiatives.
The position is located in Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
o Lead contact for The Home Depot/ EcoSmart proprietary packaging artwork.
o Responsible for managing packaging timelines and refresh schedules.
o Annually plan the Pro Walk/ Managers meeting.
o Coordination and communication of packaging requirements internally to ensure all time lines and ship dates are met.
o Manage all PQOB (Pre-Qualified On Boarding) and IDM (Item Data Management) to ensure proper set up inside of THD.
o Work with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure customer forecasts and requirements are clearly communicated to the organization.
o Maintain all product specification and date management inside of The Home Depot.
o Develop PR opportunities for The Home Depot and coordinate release.
o Track all promotional activity and MAP (Merchandise Action Plan) programs to ensure LSG is up to date and on time.
· Other Retail Customers
o Assist in the preparation of all sales materials and presentations to be presented to the customer.
o Develop marketing plans and programs for the retail sales team.
o Work with industry trade magazines, consumer publications and PR firms to develop the brand.
· General
o Main point of contact for third party marketing and packaging suppliers.
o Coordinate all marketing programs with the LSG field sales team
o Responsible for all retail market and competitive analysis.
Requirements
· Education
o BA degree or higher in Marketing or Business Management
· Work History
o 4 + years in a marketing or sales role with a consumer products company
