As a Retail Merchandiser at Camping World you will be responsible for;
Increasing sales through proper and timely implementation of marketing and merchandising programs
Assisting in ordering inventory to maintain adequate stock levels
Conducting cycle counts, stock adjustments, returns to the DC, and negative hand counts to keep inventory correct
Planning and implementing product presentations
Maintaining signage program and pricing
Promptly displaying new or best products and disposes of discontinued or failed test products in accordance with markdown program
Keeping all aisles clear during plan-a-gram
Answering phones and assists customers
Maintaining a safe work area for customers and coworkers
Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned
May balance daily receipts, record cash, checks and credit card payments
May cross train to perform other duties
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, etc.
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to make routine decisions in routine situations
Ability to communicate and resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner
Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomes
Ability to accept additional tasks, duties, and/or direction from management
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Valid Driver’s License
