Upper 90 Soccer + Sport is a fast growing soccer specialty retailer with two locations in New York City. We are currently in need of a Retail Operations Associate to assist the Director of Retail Operations with matters related to all aspects of the business, including team sales, web sales, business development, in-store retail sales, marketing and administration.
The position requires strong communication skills, enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to work closely with the director to handle multiple tasks at any given time. Upper 90 is in the process of expanding its team uniform business, website, and customer outreach through various marketing channels that include traditional advertising and social media applications. The ideal candidate would have good knowledge of retail business (preferably some soccer knowledge!) and be be willing to collaborate and develop ways to help expand our retail operations to a diverse consumer base.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assist Director of Operations with club or team business;
- Organize team or club orders and fulfillment;
- Provide reports and recommendations for developing broader customer base;
- Assist with social media, e-newsletter and website marketing initiatives;
- Maintain team or club sales invoicing and accounts;
- Retail sales help in the store as needed;
This is a part-time or full-time job of 30-40 hours per week. This is a salaried position. Pay rate is commensurate with experience and desire. Health insurance is available. The position is for the Manhattan store location on the Upper West Side.
