We have an immediate opening for a Sales Lead at our Wrentham Village, Premium Outlets location in Wrentham, MA. As a Sales Lead, you will act as Manager on Duty (MOD) at all times and are an "In-Training" Assistant Store Manager (ASM).
A Sales Lead is responsible for being the MOD, driving for results through sales and maintaining a focus on customer service. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting the Store Manager (SM) or Assistant Store Manager (ASM) with the following: completing shift responsibilities before entering the sales floor; executing the sales strategy through daily huddles; teambuilding through communication, motivation, and encouragement; providing coaching and "in the moment" feedback to other associates for their continued growth and development; and problem solving. The Sales Lead must also help to communicate store results to employees for better understanding of opportunities for operational improvement; act as an additional sales person when needed; and must continually improve their product knowledge through Sony's on-line training program. Additional duties may be required upon request from management.
Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent
A minimum of two years of previous retail experience plus a minimum of one year of lead responsibilities with a peer group, preferably in assistant store management in a retail environment is required
Consumer electronics retail experience is preferred
Must be a results-driven, team player with a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills
Must be able to stand/walk for extended period of times, climb a ladder (up to 20 feet), and lift 50 pounds, all with or without reasonable accommodation
The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is a must
