Marin Software is experiencing rapid growth and looking for an experienced Revenue Accountant to join our San Francisco based team.
Perform finance review of new customer order forms and renewals.
Maintain customer contract records in Saleforce.com.
Track and manage sales commission plans.
Prepare commission calculations and update Sales commission statements.
Research resolution of sales commission related issues and provide timely responses.
Set up billing rate tables as required timely and accurately.
Set up of customer billing accounts in ERP system and prepare invoices as required.
Analyze customer billing to determine if deferral is required.
Participate in audits as needed.
Work on ad-hoc projects as required.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
3 - 5 years revenue accounting, billing and commissions experience in a high volume SAAS environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in an ever changing environment
Experience with SAAS billing platforms, CRM and ERP systems, preferably Zuora, NetSuite and Salesforce.com desired.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (creating complex spreadsheets, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Working knowledge of GAAP and software revenue recognition principles
This is an on-site, full time salaried position located in the financial district of San Francisco, (one block from Bart station). Compensation depends on prior experience.
