The Revenue Cycle Educator is responsible for developing training materials with management staff in accordance with regulatory guidelines and JCAHO requirements. The educator is also responsible for performing the monitoring of Patient Access staff through formalized Quality Assurance process, in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
-Bachelor degree in Business or related field
-Minimum of 4 years of related work experience in registration, insurance eligibility and benefit verification may be accepted in lieu of education
-Knowledge of Medicare, Blue Cross, Medicaid, NEIC and commercial insurance required
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
-Knowledge of Federal, State and JCAHO requirements preferred
-Basic accounting and medical terminology preferred
