The E.W. Scripps Company is hiring a Revenue Operations Specialist to join or growing digital organization in Cincinnati, OH. This position will involve interactions with Sales teams at multiple properties to ensure seamless campaign execution, providing a high-level of client service support.

This person will be a key contributor to our revenue operations team and responsible for implementing, maintaining and enhancing digital campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Consistently identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and sharing across all internal teams that impact advertising
  • Liaise with web production, Sales, Marketing and Analytics regarding planning and prioritization to assist in the overall health of our digital business
  • Advise/consult with internal departments regarding ad inventory, forecasting, sell through rates
  • Implement and ensure that all elements of advertising campaigns are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure complete and accurate revenue recognition in a variety of billing systems
  • Compare reporting with third party to confirm campaign reporting is tracking and campaigns are running as contracted
  • Troubleshoot on pre-launch creative, working with vendor to resolve creative issues
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to recommend campaign modifications for optimal results
  • Provide daily campaign analysis and optimization
  • Generate monthly client campaign reports and interpret the results, providing key metrics and campaign recommendations to assist the sales team with client retention
  • Cultivate positive professional relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams
  • Assist in the RFP process for national campaigns
  • Collaborate with Billing team to resolve monthly invoicing queries
  • Manage inventory allocation across sales, promotions
  • Maintain master inventory avails and sponsorship calendar
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Knowledge of, or experience working with a Digital Ad Server preferred
  • Publisher-side experience preferred but not necessary
  • Experience with web analytics preferred
  • Knowledge of, or experience with WideOrbit or other billing software preferred
  • Experience with order management systems (i.e. salesforce, dsm, operative) preferred

  • Fundamental understand of Broadcast and Newspaper media
  • Working knowledge of Flash, HTML and JavaScript with the ability to modify third party and in-house ad tags to ensure ad server compatibility
  • General knowledge of third party ad serving solutions as well as rich media technologies, including impression and click through tracking pixels
