The position of Reverse Engineer II is a position that would report from AIS's San Antonio, TX office (Cyber Operations West).

High Level Responsibilities:
Assist in vulnerability discovery and analysis utilizing static and dynamic analysis methods

Assist in exploit development

Conduct network protocol security analysis

Assist in development of vulnerability and exploitation mitigations

Suggests alternative design approaches as appropriate

Work with various teams in the organization to ensure appropriate project requirements are met.

Specific Responsibilities:Required Capabilities/Skills:
Must possess a Top Secret DoD Security Clearance

Programming Skills: Python and x86 Assembly

Software Applications: Ida Pro

Ability to perform routine tasks with little or no supervision

Able to find and correct most problems with own work

Reverse Engineering - Software

Static Analysis

Able to interpret requirements and develop engineering models

Self-managing; occasionally leads small teams

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Able to contribute to technical content in proposals

Desired Skills:
Embedded Systems development

Programming Skills: C, C++, ARM Assembler, x64, and MIPS

Operating Systems: Windows (XP, Vista, 7), Linux, and Unix

Penetration Testing

Vulnerability Testing

GNU Compiler Collection (GCC)

IDA PRO Scripting

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen

Must possess a Top Secret DoD Security Clearance

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; with a minimum of 3 years of experience in job-related position

Minimum of 7 years of experience in job-related position, without degree credentials

Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in job-related position

Without degree credentials, a minimum of 7 years of experience in job-related position
