An international construction management firm, Moss & Associates, has a great opportunity for a Risk Analyst. The position will be based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The Risk Analyst role supports the Risk Manager by performing essential duties relating to corporate insurance, risk accounting, and general administration as required.
The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of insurance or risk management experience with a construction firm, insurance brokerage, or insurance company. Experience with a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) a plus. Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and the desire to grow and learn with a leading construction firm. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Core functions will include coordination of assigned Contractor Controlled Insurance Program Projects (CCIP), enrollment and verification of CCIP subcontractors, including follow-up, gathering useful site information from project team as needed, regular review of CCIP reports to ensure that program continuity is maintained, communication with subcontractors and AON regarding insurance discrepancies or questions, processing and filing of all insurance-related change orders, creation of project status reports for Risk Accounting Manager, and maintenance of department file system.
