Role Summary

Russell is seeking an entry-level Analyst to serve as a member of the Global Risk Management team. Responsibilities will include providing analysis, project management, research, department communications, calendar management, and reporting in support of senior staff in global risk management. This person will work with all areas of risk management, and manage various activities and issues relating to the execution of the global risk management program. This person will report to the Chief Risk Officer and will be based in our Seattle headquarters.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

Support senior risk staff in managing day-to-day activities to include research, analysis, reporting, calendaring, governance committees, intranet, and client communications.

Develop, organize, and maintain presentations for management as required.

Ad-hoc participation in sensitive risk issues and special projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

Bachelor's degree required.

Prior experience in risk, investment and/or financial management strongly preferred.

Ability to support, organize, and administer core activities of a business unit.

General knowledge of a variety of fields within financial services.

Ability to successfully interface with senior risk associates, legal teams, department staff, and senior management.

Strong project management skills.

Solid communication and presentation skills.

Ability to quickly analyze complex data and identify the need for further analysis or escalation.

Strong preference for establishing process consistency and efficiency.

Strong collaboration ability across Russell's corporate functions.

Ability to facilitate effective conversations within the corporate functions.

Keen sense of curiosity and a "constant questioner".

Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
