We are in search of a Risk Manager for our client in north western Texas. This is a newly created position in which the duties of this job was combined with another job title. This is also due to hospital growth.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a degree in nursing, however a master's in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or the equivalent is strongly preferred.

You should have at least 4 years of current demonstrated experience in Risk management.

We are considering those who are experienced working in this role in either a hospital or large physician practice setting. We would also be interested in speaking with RNs who work with law firms.

You should be able to put together meaningful financial reports to discuss and share with committees. This position will involve interaction with physicians , so strong interpersonal skills are a must. Knowledge of current state and federal regulations, Joint Commission standards, Medicare regulations, and O.S.H.A. standards.

You will be reporting to the DCQI and you will be working closely with the Safety/Risk Identification/ Mitigation team.

Salary is based on experience. Hours are normal working hours. Full comprehensive benefits package.
