Key Accountabilities:
Providing strategic direction and guidance for enterprise wide implementation of controls, providing subject matter expertise to Senior Leadership and control teams throughout the organization.

Manages control activities including: policies, standards and procedure frameworks including exception management, risk and control assessments, controls design and assurance and regulatory compliance

Understand, interpret and implement enterprise strategic goals and objectives within sphere of control.

Collect; validate and report to senior management on relevant goals and metrics, providing transparency into the end to end control environment through key risk (KRIs) and performance indicators (KPIs).

Communicate strategic program objectives to subordinate team members; provides direction, manages, oversees and supports team(s). May matrix manage a team that crosses multiple disciplines or functions.

Identify and engage program/project stakeholders across the enterprise and ensure compatibility of disparate organizational priorities.

Communicate, and interact with senior management and peers to influence decision cycle with respect to effectively managing business and technology risk.

Contribute to management of the departmental budget and corresponding financials.

Transparency and Demand Management - Bring together a comprehensive view of risk and control for COO, delivering all of our Corporate and Local reporting inclusive of PRAS.

Ad Hoc Request Management - Respond to critical governance and control demands that require urgent attention

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop plans and deliver results.

MBA preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in global, matrix organization, breaking down barriers and influencing a collaborative work environment.

One of the following:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in managing and directing task oriented or multifunctional teams.

Applicable professional or industry certifications or equivalent experience

Specialty experience preferred related to business continuity and IT disaster recovery:

Understand regulatory requirements and risks issues associated with disaster recovery programs.

Knowledge and practical application of business impact assessments

Competent in the evaluation of both technical and business recovery solutions to meet business expectations.

Development of and implementation of program frameworks, enabling key stakeholders with the tools necessary to support the BCM and ITDR program objectives

Identifies and addresses inefficiencies in systems, processes and controls, escalating as appropriate;

Ability to determine control criticality and to make sound judgments in relation to any aspect of risk and control.

Project management skills desired

Relevant professional certifications preferred: BCI certification
