Achieves guest satisfaction and comfort by ensuring
guest rooms are fresh, clean, and well-lighted. Promptly
submits work orders to engineering department as
maintenance issues are identified.
Stocks housekeeping carts.
Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and
cleans carpet, rugs, upholstered furniture, and
draperies, moving furniture as necessary.
Dusts furniture, fixtures and pictures.
Washes walls, ceiling and trim as needed.
Washes windows and door panels.
Empties wastebaskets and transports trash to waste
Cleans bathroom floors and fixtures.
Replinishes bathroom supplies.
Replaces light bulbs.
Submits maintenance work orders as needed.
Adheres to work performance standards and achieves both
quantity and quality goals.
Follows all safety and security procedures including
Bloodborne Pathogens, proper lifting techniques, key
police, etc. Uses equipment and materials properly and
reports unsafe conditions.

Performs additional job-related duties as assigned by

Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Ability to clean to standard 16 guest rooms per shift.
Ability to lift and move approximately 25 pounds.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach on a
daily basis to clean guest rooms.
Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained repetitive
motion (for example: cleaning windows and vacuuming).
Ability to hear guest voices through a closed door.
Ability to work with chemicals such as cleaners and
