Located in the heart of San Francisco next to the Moscone Convention Center, the Hotel Milano is currently closed and undergoing a comprehensive full scale renovation and will re-open in the 1st Quarter 2013 as Hotel Zetta San Francisco, a full service Urban Retreat managed by the Viceroy Hotel Group. The hotel will offer 116 fully appointed guest rooms, 2 boardrooms, a game room, a fully appointed fitness center as well as a unique and exciting Food and Beverage offering. This will be the first significant new opening in the San Francisco hotel landscape since 2008.

We are currently seeking Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our opening team!

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
The Room Attendant position will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of assigned guestrooms and public areas. Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, this position will ensure the hotel’s standards of cleanliness are exceeded at all times.

Job Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks according to hotel standards, and immediately reporting any damage to guestrooms and/or public areas.

Verify rooms are vacant and initiate maintenance requests for necessary repairs and/or upkeep.

Use correct cleaning products for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas.

Ensure the complete confidentiality and security of all guestrooms.

Welcome, greet, and acknowledge all guests.

Display a friendly, courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions with all guests, patrons and fellow colleagues.

Actively listen and immediately respond to all guest inquiries and issues.

Perform additional duties, as assigned.


Must be self directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work with maximum accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail with minimum supervision.

Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.

Excels in a team environment.

Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 25 lbs on a regular and continuing basis.

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.

Minimum 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position within a luxury hotel environment preferred.
