Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is a 245 room hotel located in Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park. The Lodge also offers fine and causal dining rooms, a lounge, conference facilities and pool.
Responsible for the leadership of all rooms operations, including Housekeeping, Front Office, facilities, grounds and pool.
Oversees special projects for the Lodge Rooms Division including remodeling, repairs and maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
Supervises lodging management and staff to ensure compliance with NPS, Guestpath, Greenpath, safety and other standards.
Responsible for management and control of labor with a focus on operating within standards and budget.
Work with Hotel GM and Revenue Manager on setting rates and packages to drive lodging revenue.
Responsible for controlling expenses in rooms division while maintaining standards and staying with budgeted amounts.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive hospitality management experience with a focus in lodging operations, including prior experience as a rooms executive of a luxury property.
College degree in related field preferred.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, problem solving, and delegation skills.
Must have ability to effectively manage financial, guest service, and employee relations aspects of hotel operations.
Union experience highly preferred.
