Landshire, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to deliver and sell products on established routes, call on and acquire new customers, and provide superior customer service by performing the below listed job functions. Candidates should be confident, self-starters who can operate without direct supervision. Candidates must be able to communicate well, have a neat appearance, and provide outstanding customer service. A clean driving record is required.
Essential Job Functions:
Safely drives route truck to deliver Landshire products to customer’s place of business.
Looks for sales opportunities, existing or new accounts.
Collects money, check orders, and/or obtains signatures from customers, makes change, and records transactions.
Writes customer order and instructions.
Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery record.
Employee calls on prospective customers to solicit new business.
Prepares order forms and sales contracts.
Informs regular customers of new products or services.
Listens to and resolves service complaints.
Places stock on shelves or racks, properly rotates product.
Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
Employee must know all products, equipment and programs offered.
Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
Provides Services and Sales Information for existing accounts daily (approximately 20-25 daily).
Operate handheld computer.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals as well as the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Apply good sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Operate handheld computer and printer.
Utilize two-wheeler when necessary.
Utilize Defensive Driving Techniques.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands, able to grasp and pinch with fingers, handle, feel; talk or hear. The employee must be able to reach with hands and arms extending overhead and/or to knees. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl in each account (approx. 20-25 accounts daily) and/or in the route truck (approx 6 trips in and out of truck per stop). The employee must routinely be able to grasp individual sandwiches, boxes, handles, steering wheel, etc. up to 10 lbs. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and often lift, push, pull and/or move up to 65 pounds. The employee must regularly carry multiple boxes of sandwiches, weighing at minimum 11 lbs (weight of one box), push and/or pull 25 lbs. Employee must be able to twist from waist, in each account and in vehicle as necessary. Employee must be able to frequently turn head side-to-side while in vehicle and/or accounts.
Employee must have valid current driver's license.
Employee must meet driving record requirements (checked via MVR).
Required to be 21 years of age or older.

Far Vision — The ability to see details at a distance.

Control Precision — The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Reaction Time — The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.
Speech Clarity — The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold (non-weather) and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Work Monday thru Friday, 4:45am-complete.
