The Director of Sales is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives through professional sales techniques and long-term customer relationship. Organizes, motivates and leads sales teams in an assigned territory. This position is responsible for the identification and development of new products and new clients, as well as provides oversight of the integration of new client requirements into existing network operations. This position assures new client contracts meet financial and strategic goals.



Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience required.

Master's degree in Marketing or other related field preferred

Experience/Skills Requirements:
7+ years related sales and management experience

Strong understanding of health plan business and medical risk management principles. Strong working knowledge of Health Plan benefits design, basic underwriting and contract pricing knowledge is desirable.

Must demonstrate creative problem solving skills to respond to business needs and possess the ability to lead a variety of new projects and initiatives in a rapidly changing and growing clinical business environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service behavior at all times
