Digital River seeks a SAP Advanced Planner & Optimizer ( APO) Specialist based in Minnetonka, MN.
Analyze business data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
Expand or modify system to serve new purposes and improve work flow
Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems
Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
Coordinate SAP Advanced Planner & Optimizer (APO) software system installation and maintenance
Configure SNC, DP, SNP, gATP to suite business requirements
Assess and mitigate risk associated with technical project plans
Consult with team members and customers to obtain a clear understanding of requirements for SAP solutions, including R3 functional modules, SCM functional modules together with development
Process Integration knowledge to define Proxies around different global messages, and integrations to other systems
Review SAP Early Watch reports
Provide solutions for demand planning, supply network planning, Collaboration with vendors and suppliers, Multi sourcing capabilities, BW data extracts, and consignment inventory
Provide architectural design solutions to fit business processes and run fit-gap analysis to identify any gaps
Should be able to write functional specifications as per the requirements and also should be able to convert the Functional Specifications to Technical understandability
Propose custom solutions for the processes for identified Gaps
Define forward and reverse logistic processes, ASN publishing job schedules and monitor for critical issues
Position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Engineering
The qualified candidate must have at least 4 years of relevant software engineering and/or systems analysis experience with SAP Supply Chain Management using relevant tools and technologies, including HTML, XML, Quality Center/Test Director, ECC(SD,MM, PP, FICO), SAP SCM (SNC, gATP, DP, SNP), liveCache, Core Interface, SAP BI Configuration with Process Chains, SAP MDM, SAP PI, job scheduling tools like Redwood, SAP Job scheduling, handling Core Java application developments, Servlets, and writing queries in Oracle PL/SQL
In lieu of a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant software engineering experience, a qualified candidate may have a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant post-Bachelor's software engineering experience. All experience may be gained concurrently
