Our client, a leading and rapidly growing chemical distribution company, has an immediate need for a 2 Financial Systems Functional Analysts.
Salary Range: $80 - $90K/year (DOE)

This position will responsible for analyzing business requirements and working with the business units, and other BIS teams, to translate business requirements into BIS technical design requirements. This position will provide support to Global users utilizing the financial applications.
3-5 years of systems or functional analysis experience required; or relevant work experience such as developing computer application software.
5+ years of relevant experience working in an IT environment.
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Computer Science
SAP certification a Plus
Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with all BIS governance, standards and policies.
Knowledge of and compliance with all Information Security protection policies and standards.
Use requirements gathering tools to build and design technology solutions.
Uses common business analysis tools and methodologies and applies them in problem solution and improvement processes.
Review business technology roadmaps.
Study and map business processes ensuring alignment with ERP application best practices.
Document and/or review user requirements.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Prepare functional design and specifications.
Analyze current business processes. Build current process model diagrams. Make recommendations on changes to improve processes.
Act as a liaison between client’s business groups and BIS business and systems analysts.
Customize or change applications to suit the new or existing business processes.
Create system test plans.
Responsible for unit and system testing.
Provide estimates to project managers for specific tasks.
Communicate technology requirements to developers and end-users.
Communicate both up and down in the organization to keep all parties informed.
Quickly grasps complex business processes.
Must be able to perform 2nd level support of applications.
Develop and create code as required.
Share technical knowledge with other team members.
Other duties as required.

Experience in studying and mapping business processes to the BPC application.
Effective communication, with well developed interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and discretion.

Experience with “root cause analysis” process to identify, document, and solve technical problems.
Develop and maintain consensus across diverse and potentially conflicting stakeholder groups.
Work with a diverse range of skill sets (e.g., operations, analysts, technicians, developers or 3rd party vendors).
Build and maintain strong partnerships with business unit clients
Adept at working in a fast paced, changing environment while serving the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Maintain updated knowledge of the business and operating systems/environment.
Capability to learn and support new applications.
Implementation experience desired.
Ability to be productive and produce quality results in a dynamic work environment
Strong organizational skills, initiative, sense of urgency, and ownership of issues - driving to resolution with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex business and technical concepts quickly
BIS Position Specific Role Requirements:
Experience utilizing SAP BPC in a global environment
SAP BPC 7.5 experience Required, SAP BPC 10 experience preferred
SAP NetWeaver version experience Required.
Design and support a multi-currency environment and associated functionality
EV expressions, multi-level drivers, updating elimination (ELIMACC) properties
Application logic, developing reports & input schedules, audit, work status, business process flows
EVDRE reports and input templates
Security administration review/troubleshooting experience
SAP BPC multi-dimensional / multi-role model
Maintain / test SAP BPC security model throughout associated applications (examples include BW, Portal, etc)
Update and troubleshoot BPC associated scripts and BADIs
Provide enhancement and upgrade project support
Lead and provide support on change requests
Identify & assess future process improvements
Provide “On Call” production support based on support schedules
Lead and provide support in the updates to standard operating procedures
Comprehend and comply with IT policies and processes in the areas of software development and implementation
