Our client in Oklahoma City is ready to embark on a major SAP implementation, to include Finance, Accounting and HR. This implementation will also include a full implementation of the standard SAP infrastructure of Basis, BW, NetWeaver, EBW, and CRM.

Basic Purpose :

There are multiple open roles in this project including the following:

SAP Basis Administration Lead, Supervisor of SAP Development, BI Lead, Information Analyst with either SAP/CRM, or SPA Basis, or SAP Integration, or SAP Development, or SAP Business Analyst, and lastly SAP QA. In each of these roles, the successful candidate is responsible for leading, managing and coordinating one or more of the roles listed above. The candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects, deliverables and defining scope for new or existing applications. All of the development roles are responsible for managing and coordinating software development practices within SAP. The candidates will be capable of managing employees, multiple projects, deliverables and defining scope for new or existing applications.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Develop project plans as necessary for upgrades, enhancements and new installations
  • Manage the propagation of system changes throughout the SAP landscape
  • Manager the refresh schedule with the BATL (Business Aligned Technical Lead), SAP Data and Development Services team and other necessary areas.
  • Develop and mentor team and encourage team to learn new technologies and improve skill sets.
  • Be an innovator for the team by keeping abreast of SAP technologies and development practices.
  • Create comprehensive development and support plans
  • Contribute to the design, development, implementation and maintenance efforts of the BASIS, BW, or development team
  • Communicate project status to upper management and provide insight on any current and upcoming issues
  • Escalate issues to key management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project managers and business analyst to ensure development is on track and also to resolve issues and provide root cause analysis for defects
Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business with MIS or technology related degree (C.S.)
  • 6+ years of experience within one or more of the roles listed above
  • Experience with full life cycle implementations
  • Experience with SAP ECC, BW, SolMan, Enterprise Portals
  • Preference will be given to individuals having productively implemented SAP solutions such as WAS 6.20/6.40, ECC, BW 7.0, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portals 6.0 and ITS 6.20
  • Experience in system monitoring
  • Experience in software installation
  • Experience in monitoring ABAP dumps and database locks
  • Experience in system tuning
  • Experience in using Solution Manager for overall system monitoring and central user administration a plus but not mandatory
  • Ensures that information SAP Basis administration is a critical and high priority design requirement in all new IT initiatives, application or infrastructure related and provides SAP Basis and Database.
  • Experience in Kernel updates, support package application, plug-ins updates, landscape management, transports, printer setups and troubleshooting, etc.).
  • OSS notes research, message posting, Notes applying and forwarding SAP
  • Work closely with the other Infrastructure team members to ensure that systems activities do not negatively impact the environment.
  • Experience in creating client copies and deletes as needed
  • Experience in restoring production back to QA as needed for ERP and BW
  • Perform SAP upgrades and new implementations as and when required by management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business with MIS or technology related degree (C.S.)
  • Experience: 6+ years of SAP ABAP Development Experience
  • PI experience
  • Experience with full life cycle implementations
  • Extensive experience in ABAP programming including Dialog programming using all the advanced techniques like tab strips, controls etc.
  • Experience in development Objective Oriented ABAP using ABAP Objects
  • Experience with BSPs, WebDynpro and Floor Plan Manager
  • SMARTFORM and Adobe forms
  • Experience in the following modules: CRM, FI, AP, AR, GL, SD, MM, HR
  • Experience in SAP ECC
  • Experience in IS-Retail a plus
  • Experience in BW/BI/BOBJ a plus
