SAP Business Analyst
Partner with business customer and IT team to lead and coordinate projects and enhancements.
Ability to work with customer to gather, define, and document Business Requirements.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical/functional requirements.
Create functional specifications as needed for new developments or enhancements.
Ability to lead and manage a small technical team to deliver approved solutions/enhancements.
Ability to facilitate resolution of production support requests by working directly with key business stakeholders.
Must be able to perform root cause analysis.
Act as a liaison between the business organizations such as Customer Service and Sales departments and the IS/IT department.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with other functional IS/IT teams related to support, enhancement or testing
Act as a liaison between the numerous IS/IT departments both internal and external that interface data to/from and within SAP.
Develop alternative solutions to a problem, evaluate each solution and then recommend the best alternative based on both the technical and business impacts.
Develop test conditions and expected results based on the user or system requirements.
Proactively identify and report on risks, issues and dependencies of assigned tasks/ projects.
Participate in the identification of process improvement opportunities, provide input and recommendations and assist with implementation of solutions.
Provide regular status updates. The qualifications:
5 years of experience in Project Management, Systems Analysis, Functional Design, Business Process Modeling
The ideal resource will possess an existing level of SAP knowledge and have the ability to quickly learn and understand any custom developments and configurations that have been made to a mature SAP environment in the Sales and Distribution area, specifically pricing and billing.
The successful candidate has an IT degree or several years experience in a large and international environment on a similar position.
Ability to serve as a functional lead with a small team.
Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities and workload to support the goals of the team.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Display proven experience with systems analysis & integration
Ability to identify, clarify and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed.
Demonstrate initiative and ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and self-manage.
Ability to handle Pricing information in a confidential and professional manner.
Ability to effectively handle pressure and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams/organizations.
Flexible, with the capability to deliver results in a fast paced, dynamic, extremely complex environment.
